The beds were extremely comfotable, with good quality bedding. There was a proper bath ,not a shower. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean.Buffet breakfast was varied and good value, with service available. There was a good view across the river.
Traffic noise all night if the window were open, but not air conditioned or with a permanent fan in the room-suggest bring your own fan or request one from reception.
The location for a chain hotel was excellent as we were no more than 3 minutes drive away from the old quarter of Honfleur. The room had tea/coffee making facilities which proved very advantageous. The hotel also offered an Express breakfast of OJ, coffee & pastries for 7 euros.
More English TV channels would be nice.
one of the most convenient hotel for sightseening Honfleur!
Room was clean, but the room we received had a TV which didn't function, we couldn't access the free wi-fi and the thermostat did not function. The staff were slow to address the issues, but eventually put us in another room which was fine (the second night we extended).
We could walk to the port and restaurants. Parking was convenient.
The room was so tiny with no place to unpack clothes. The breakfast was expensive.
Convenient,clean & friendly.
The room rate was very expensive for the quality of the room. The ambience was much more that of a business motel rather than a 3 star tourist hotel. The private car park was useful but expensive and the security lighting was intrusive at night. Somewhat bizarrly there were no draws in the room to place clothes which makes us think again it is a business hotel where guests do not bother to unpack. The breakfast was expensive even in French terms and the location disappointing as the hotel boasts a view of the port but this is infact across a busy road and with a large Camping Car park on the far side of the basin. In hind sight we would have stayed at an hotel further out with free parking and walk into town. Only 10 minutes!
Good location, comfortable room, spacious by European standards. Great town!
Need better or extra pillows.
The staff on reception were excellent, it really helped us that they could speak such good english,(our french is very limited).
The heat in the room was very hot in the night and we were unable to lower the temperature with the wall control. We opened a window instead but this was too noisy.
Clean, modern "boutique style" rooms. The Mercure's in a great location with secure parking behind the hotel (10 euros per day). Staff very friendly and helpful and a good checkout time of 12 noon. The restaurants and cafes of Honfleur are only a couple of minutes away
Only negative was that the bar wasn't open in the evening although we could get cold drinks from a fridge in reception.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and only 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Honfleur. It was good to have on-site secure parking, but thought the €10 fee was a bit high. Tea-making facilities in the room were most welcome.
The hotel definitely offers comfort and modern style; although the rooms are not so spacious you get everything you need for a night stay; the bathroom well equipped; the hotel paid parking is conveniently just behind the hotel;
I would not say that most of the rooms are overlooking the harbour or the bridge, our room was facing the parking but still if you are to spend a single night should be fine. I would say that the price for a double room is a bit high for what you get, even given the comfort and the modern style
Clean,Comfortable.Superb position.Excellent breakfast.Secure Parking worth the reassurance at 10euro.Front room overlooking outer harbour.Efficient lift.
Good location, easy parking, good clean room
the hotel was in a good location, parking was good, the room was clean and tea and coffee facilities available, also liked the small fridge in the room. Breakfast was good.
The pillows were tiny and should have been larger.
Secure parking was good given the difficulty of parking anywhere in the street in France. 5 minute walk to the harbour was excellent. Asked for a view and was given a view of the Normandy Bridge which for an Engineer was very interesting.
